PILR connects families and coaches to the support that surrounds the game — rides, gear, mentorship, someone to talk to — so no one carries youth sports alone.

of coaches feel highly confident helping athletes navigate pressure beyond the game.

The game gets the highlight reel. The kid carries the rest. Practices are covered, playbooks are covered — and then everything around the game is left to whoever can absorb it. Rides. Gear. The bad week nobody names. The infrastructure outside the lines was never built.

You don’t have to wait for the system to care.

PILR is where you build the missing half — a network of families, coaches, and neighbors who connect a need to someone who can meet it. Not more trophies. A better village.

02 // The backup

Two kinds of backup.

Whatever the season throws at you, PILR is the conduit — it connects what you need to the people and organizations already equipped to meet it.

Outside the game.

The part no one schedules: someone to talk to, people who get it, help navigating school, money, and the hard weeks. You tell PILR what you need and it points you to a provider that shares your values.

What gets them there/ 02

Inside the game.

The practical things that decide whether a kid plays at all — a ride, a carpool, cleats that fit. Not skill coaching. PILR connects the gap to a neighbor or organization that can close it.

PILR in action.

Families showed up. Coaches showed up. Mentors sat down with kids who needed one, and neighbors filled gaps for each other across Philly. More gatherings are taking shape now — shaped by the people who join early.

PILR is early — and already in motion. Mental-health sessions, individual mentorship, grassroots program support: validated with real families, alongside partners who were already doing the work.

The whole point //

Winning at all costs costs too much.

Victory extends beyond the scoreboard. Measure it in kids who stay, families who breathe, and a sideline that holds.
